Enthusiast popping into your day with a little spoonful of joy in a plate full of surprises, because I want to welcome you to our secret and super special podcast episode exclusively baked for you our amazing brunch plus supporter and private athletes. First and foremost, I want to let you know how much gratitude I feel for the chance to be on this microphone chatting to you in your ear. The only thing I wish that I could change is that, more than anything, is that I can hear from you as well. I went out for a short run and came across a superhero on wheels with his four-legged sidekick. I'm not gonna lie. We got into a little bit of awkward chit chat. I was doing a run walk and his new peppers wanted to run with the pack, so there was a little bit of passing each other back and forth and we just decided let's go ahead and combine forces. I joined in on their adventure. I ran alongside them. I came to learn that my new friend and runspiration was once a world-class triathlete who had lost his legs due to cancer, while he currently has continued health issues.

Speaker 1:

He states that he feels that his belief in movement and staying positive are the two biggest components of his life and his journey. While we were able to find our stride, I look forward to running with them again, but this is a reminder that movement is a gift and, even when we're facing obstacles and hurdles, that with the right mindset, we can transform our tails pun intended into that of triumph and inspiration for others.
